Gamswitch Participates in Mojaloop Convening in Kigali, Rwanda.
Last week, Gamswitch was proud to participate in the Mojaloop Convening held in Kigali, Rwanda. Representing the company were our Chief Financial Officer and Acting CEO, Mr. Samba Omar Sowe; Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Baboucarr Drammeh; and one of our exceptional Software Developers, Mr. Ousman Jallow. This event built on the momentum from a Mojaloop training session hosted earlier at Sunset Beach Hotel in The Gambia.
The convening highlighted exciting developments for the Mojaloop platform, including new features designed to enhance cross-border payment processing, such as FX, ISO 20022, and inter-scheme capabilities. Live demonstrations showcased its growing potential, with one test processing 1,000 savings deposits in just 1 minute and 31 seconds, proving Mojaloop’s ability to handle massive transaction volumes efficiently.
Risk management, scalability, and ease of deployment were central themes, alongside collaborative efforts to tackle challenges like duplicate aliases in digital finance systems. The event also encouraged participants to engage with Mojaloop’s councils and contribute to shaping its future roadmap.
Gamswitch’s involvement in this event underscores our dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation in payment systems, reaffirming our role as leaders in transforming financial & payment services in The Gambia.
